I researched the ones you can buy, and most reviews said they broke easily.
For $20 in parts, I figured I'd give it a try.
.
Items were acquired from local Ace Hardware store.
-
1) Ace Hardware wireless plug in door bell $15
2) Ace Hardware gate hinge $5
3) some scrap wood I had around
.
.
Install was super easy.
Plug in the chimer to any indoor outlet.
Mount the hinge outside beside the door.

The fun will be teaching her to use it.
She already rings a hanging bell to go out, so maybe this will be easy for her to learn as well.
.
Have a good day
