We have a Pioneer 1000-5. Our 10 months old pitbull/boxer mix LOVES riding in the middle in the front. Problem is, I cannot find a seat belt that attaches to her harness that clicks into the seatbelt. The ones we have for our car aren't long enough to actually engage the belt allowing it to be secured. Anyone use a seatbelt for their pup that clicks into the seatbelt and can point me in the right direction???

Welcome from Michigan!
Cute pup.
I dont use one, the machine is too herky jerky on trail. My dogs do a better job at moving with the machine or he’ll just lay across my wife and I’s lap lol. Anther option that i haven't tried yet, is to put a soft rear panel on the back and ypu can put one in the middle if u like as well. Leave the nets up and a dog bed in the back. Perfectly safe.

Heres the old man in the passenger seat. I keep a leash on him just in case.

Ditto pretty much all of the above. Amazon has a large selection.
We often hook the chest harness to a lead tied to the bar above the middle seat.
It gives the dog a little more movement without letting her fall off the front of the seat.

So does this hook directly into the seat belt buckle? I have yet to try hooking the strap to the bar above the seat...might have to try that tonight to see if that works.

Thanks! We are loving the SxS world so far!! Yeah, maybe I just need to trust in her natural balance and see how she does without one. We were threading the seatbelt through her harness and buckling it, but that seems to restrict her movement so much that I feel bad. She does like to be in my lap the majority of the time anyways! Your guy looks like he loves to ride!!

In addition to the typical dog harness, we then use a 2ft leash that is looped around the rollbar behind the seat and then clipped to the harness. Been using this method for over 3 years works great.

Ditto. Same method. Gives them the freedom to move back and forth between the back where we have pads and a pillow, to the front seat. We have two Aussies and they take turns in both spots. We also lay a thick blanket draped over the middle bar so they have some cushion when they straddle it (and to help them with the heat there).
I don't have pics of the set up.... but it's pretty simple and you get the idea from the descriptions above. But here's pics of the pups cause everyone here likes pics :)

Sounds easy enough, I will definitely give this a try, thanks! You're dogs are too cute & they look so happy to be riding! Didn't expect our girl to love it as much as she does, as soon as we get it out she's right there waiting to jump in!!

Now you've done it: stumped me. See how easy it is?
I can't remember if we've locked into the buckle. We've always tied off to the middle bar.
My machine isn't here, so I'll have to get back on this.
