P1000 Door bushings??

i need a complete set of bushings for my 1000-5 as I almost kept losing passengers when door was flying open yesterday. Passenger door sags so it doesn’t always catch right to close. I’m having surgery tomorrow and won’t be able to wrench on it for couple of weeks so I can’t do the deal with rod and make my own. Need something ready to go so family can use it safely while I’m down. I know RB3 makes them but haven’t really seen many people say they have used them. Is that the best option or is there someone on the forum that sells the rod type from Amazon?

Thanks for any help. Went ahead and took doors off tonight in preparation for them. I will have my son bolt them back on after

I have the rb3 bushings and they’re good. But with the DIY threads I’d just make my now.

Had I know it was an issue I would have made my own but it just became a problem yesterday on ride. With surgery tomorrow I don’t have time to DIY it. I know I have to buy, just looking for best option. Thought I seen a forum member made some

Buy some of these... drill center hole to fit pin... slide them in... done.

Just put the RB3 bushings on works great no movement or rattling

I just purchased and installed the RB3 door bushings. They are nicely made, but my 2016 P1000-5 doors already had sort of the same plastic insert already installed from factory. The RB3 bushings made some difference in the back doors but electrical tape on the door strikers made the biggest difference. Nice product, but WAY overpriced.

did you watch the video it tells you not only how to install but also how to tighten any slack in door. If you didn't then that might be why. You should not need any electrical tape at all.

I only have a 1000-3 but used the RB3 bushings. Work great,no tape and no rattles!

Amazing tip! Was looking for an alternate to $100 door bushings. Seemed way too expensive for what it was.
