Door Handles- issue

Hey guys,

Sent here by the guys over at super atv. I just recently bought a 2020 talon, that was equipped with the Honda branded soft upper doors with handles.

Problem is- prior owner kept the mechanisms that allow the door handles to work. I have the cable, but it stops there.

Hoping someone here can help me, as the Honda dealers are telling me they cannot get the parts. I don’t even mind to go to the hardware store and make my own if it’ll work. I just want the door handles to be functional again!

There is a door handle service kit from the parts diagram at the end of the instructions for the doors.

Thanks for this! i was able to find the repair kit on partzilla. it is only listed as the front. Would the parts kit be the same for the rear? if so, looks fairly straight forward to replace !
