Fender isn't hard. Just push pins and door removal. Cup holder might work but you have more room from the inside of fender. Bottom line is whatever works best for you.?? For that location rear access, why not remove the cup holder? Would that be easier than removing the fender? I haven't removed a fender yet, so don't know how easy that is.
thank youI have a spare dash in my shop. I will take some pics tonight for you.
Right by the key has some room, but not much hand access.
If you go to the left of the column, you can remove the cupholder for better access.
that's a awesome idea I am just starting add my electric stuff , I like getting tips from people who have been there done that and figured it out .For newbies, there should oughta be a thread devoted to access and best practices for running wires etc. I've done most all I need to do, but I often struggle mightily, only to later find a much easier way to do what, sadly, I've already done.
Removing the fender flare is easy and allows a lot of access?? For that location rear access, why not remove the cup holder? Would that be easier than removing the fender? I haven't removed a fender yet, so don't know how easy that is.
