I
The spec sheet is interesting, 4 cylinder, 140 hp, 45 mph on water. Also, I saw in a couple places the selling price is around $40K
That’s freakin BA!! If it’s four wheel drive, and I can put taller tires and supplemental skids, I’ll take it.....
Taller tires? You did see they retract (for lack of a better term) when in "boat" mode. That’s freakin BA!! If it’s four wheel drive, and I can put taller tires and supplemental skids, I’ll take it.....
Exactly, that’s why I said “IF”Taller tires? You did see they retract (for lack of a better term) when in "boat" mode.
Exactly, that’s why I said “IF”
And “IF” it’s 4 wheel drive
And “IF” it would accommodate supplemental skids....
Smack off a rock, sink in the lake. That's what I think will happenIt's all fun and games until you smack the underside on something while on a trail. Then I imagine things get real in a hurry. $$$
Not to mention if 40k is the price that is a Talon and a nice enough boat for my purposes. lol
Don’t know, haven’t seen the specs, but if all three of those “if’s” were possible, I find it very appealing.I saw the if...I was just pointing to it being highly unlikely. I have no skin in the game though and I'd be happy to read the build thread on it.
That could happen to any jet boat. Supplemental skids???Smack off a rock, sink in the lake. That's what I think will happen
The two riders (driver) in the clip pulling the skier are dressed in regular clothes. Dramatization I guess. The 2 riders looked like they were dressed in flight gear
More likely to happen to a this jet boat that drives over them. That could happen to any jet boat. Supplemental skids???
Oh yeah, on the trail. That’s why it looks like it could use taller tires and a supplemental skid over that fiberglass/plastic belly...More likely to happen to a this jet boat that drives over them.
This one, when you get done trail riding, you just bathe it in the lake on an exhilarating joy ride....Somewhat related, when we had dirt track cars we would apply some oil (baby oil or similar) to components which in turn did help get mud off the car later and it is a practice I do even today. That is, I start with a clean unit and apply SR1 or oil to my unit, certainly makes it shine but the mud appears to me to come off more easily and leave less residue....
