Yep, You will find that a lot of parts sold by dealers on eBay are like that.
Once you buy... then they order the part from the manufacture.
If there sold out or on BO then your SOL. You could get a refund, but then your back at square one.
Best to find a timeline for delivery from the seller and weight your options.

That's the worst! I'm waiting for a Pelican Case for my quad right now from Ebay. Free, fast shipping... after I order, est. shipping date is in 2 weeks.

Yeah, I ordered a windshield from them. It came and I inspected it in front of the UPS guy. It looked good so I installed it. Once installed I removed the semi transparent (blue) film and there was a hair line crack in the bend of the half windshield. I emailed them just to let them know about it and made it clear that I wasn't looking for refund or replacement. They never even responded once. Not a sorry or to offer a discount, nothing.
