P1000 Entropyfx 1000-6 Build

Hey, all, just thought I'd say hi and show my rig. I've spent the last couple months lurking and the dual battery threads were a tremendous help designing my system. Got into it and decided it was over my head, and so had a buddy who is a mechanic and loves customizing things finish it out the dual system for me. I gotta brag on him a bit, he did one of the cleaner installs I've seen. Did it in a quarter of the time it would have taken me.

Only thing a little unique on mine is I also installed two Black Oak infrared pods so I can run night vision easier chasing hogs or yotes.

Missing a winch right now and still figuring out a rear window and something for upper doors.

Build list:

Black Oak Infrared pods
Nilight ZH120 50 inch LED bar
Night flood pods on the rear
ECOXGEAR sound bad
Honda SXS shop sequential turn signal kit
TRU UTV dual battery kit with Cole hersee and SOYOND fuse box
Kemimoto mirrors
Stock roof and windshield


Not done tinkering, but it's a good start.

Not sure where "From US" you live, but if it freezes where you're at, replace that Cole Hersee with the marine rated one. Otherwise, moisture can freeze it up.

I wouldn't make it priority #1, but keep it in mind for sure.

You used to be able to buy them all day long on Amazon for like $35. I haven't seen one in stock on the marketplace for some time now. The last one I bought was from O'Reilly Auto Parts (online), but they don't have any ATM. There appear to be a few available around the web for about ~$45 - you'll likely find them at marine stores or online marine parts retailers.

If you see a red one, those are produced in Mexico (now). They have one rated at 65A (24117) and one at 85A (24117-01).

Whichever one you purchase, make sure it is rated for continuous duty, not intermittent duty.

Hey, go big or go home, right? I've been lurking since I bought it, pouring over wire diagrams and pics .

Entropy is the tendency of the world to move to chaos. I get my "fix of" (or chance to fix) chaos at work, I'm an ER doc.

That depends upon whether you want to replace it when it's 45F (now) or -10F (later) ...

I actually have a spare (marine rated) in the parts bin right now.
