P1000 BG's 2023 1000-5 Build

Well, what started as a few add-ons, has kind of turned into a "build" so figured I would document it here. My starting point is a base model 2023 Pioneer 1000-5. It currently has exactly 1 mile on the odometer. Wanted to do all modifications over the winter and before it sees any dirt or mud. Working on a clean unit is a luxury.

Here is the plan and what is completed so far...

1) Rims and Tires - MSA Vibes (14x7 0-Offset) and 28x10x14 Sedona Rock-A-Billy's. - INSTALLED.

2) 4500lb Winch (offbrand from Amazon) with synthetic rope. INSTALLED but not wired yet. Amazon winch mount, anodized red fairlead.

3) Honda Deluxe Hard roof - NOT INSTALLED

4) Kemimoto 3 in 1 Windshield - NOT INSTALLED

5) Front Bumper Mount LED lightbar w/HondaSXS fairlead mount - INSTALLED but not wired yet.

6) Left and Right side high mount LED alley lights. NOT INSTALLED yet.

7) LED low mount reverse lights on custom hitch mounted bracket (proud of this one). Fabrication and INSTALLATION in progress...

8) Custom dual battery setup in progress with smart isolator. Will be utilizing the Honda auxilliary fuse box mount but customizing it to mount components over the second battery. Still laying this one out on paper but mocked up some possibilities this weekend...

9) Nilight 6-Gang Universal Circuit Control Relay System to control lighting and other accessories. - NOT INSTALLED

10) Custom LED interior lighting in anti-mosquito and insect colors. - NOT INSTALLED

11) Custom power ports throughout for USB-A/USB-C/12V/120V. NOT INSTALLED

12) Kemimoto Bed Tray - INSTALLED

13) Bed Extender - Still Deciding

14) Kemimoto Deluxe Seat Covers - NOT INSTALLED

15) Kemimoto Rear View Mirror - NOT INSTALLED

16) Custom Sound System - Still Deciding.

Good idea! But in all reality this thing will likely be the mall crawler of SxS's. It will be used 95% around the family property. Now that I said that, your words will haunt me when I meet that one rock or stump. 😂

Hint, I get giant dry cleaner bags and wrap mine up and keep it garaged. No damage, no miles, NO DUST .

I really like the look of the base models. Simple and clean. Everything else can be built.
