I think it has a lot to do with riding style. Most folks that are into riding real trails and not gravel lined park trails or cruising the neighborhood accept that climate control is limited and dust is just part of the experience. The folks that don't need ground clearance, horsepower, or top speed usually seek the creature comforts. Honda leans more towards the outdoor enthusiasts. My sxs and my neighbors are different as night and day. My Pioneer is faster, has more horsepower, goes places he can't, and weighs less. But he doesn't ride fast, he doesn't rock crawl, avoids deep mud, and weight is no concern. Price wise is a little different. He paid more for his. But I have to admit that Kubota RTV-X1100c full cab with heat and air plus gps and factory stereo sure is nice.
