The first HondaSxS Club regional ride is being planned and as of now the location is the TOPTrails ORV Park in Talladega, AL. It is @2800 acres of beautiful Appalachian foothills and valleys. Its planned on being a weekend ride.
The plans are open ride early Friday for those that show up early, with a Friday Night ride, an all day ride Saturday with a get together Sat night (dinner will be provided) and open ride Sunday or pack up to leave. Trails range from deep mud to steep rocks and most things in between, there are (at present well maintained alternate routes around some of the tougher obstacles) all skill levels can feel comfortable riding most trails.
$10 per rider per day.
At present there are no onsite cabins or rooms, there is a welcome center with showers, the RV hookups should be completed by the time of the ride. Primitive camping or RV camping with a generator is welcomed. Primitive camping is also allowed in the "igloos" which are Cold War era ammunition bunkers, so if it's raining you are dry. It's also cooler in there as well. There are several hotels within a 10 min drive. (at present we are trying to coordinate one for everyone to stay at with a group discount, but we need rough numbers)
For more info take a look at their website and Facebook page.
