I finished up the fender flairs a while back, and overall I was very satisfied.

After 3 days at Mulberry some of the cut edges were starting to come apart, esp on drivers side below the door. I replaced that piece with a new one and then decided to try out this Liquid Rubber and tape. After washing away the dirt and letting it dry I started out by putting about a 3" wide layer of LR on the edges, top and bottom. I gave that a day to dry, then took the 2" wide tape and wrapped about 1" of it to the top and bottom, so as to protect the cut edges from unraveling. Pic will be coming ....... Well, I THOUGHT I would post the pics, for some reason I am having a problem doing it from the phone.

Next I brushed the LR on the edge nearest the P1K so as to get a good layer of rubber next to body. Then I came back and put a good coat of rubber on the rest of the flair, making sure to cover the top side/bottom side of the tape real well. Over the next few days, I will finish putting the gal. of LR on the flairs, esp on the taped edges. It appears I have enough left for at least 2 more coats. I have hopes that this will keep the conveyor belt from unraveling. If not, I guess I wasted my time and $$ ....... lol

Looking forward to seeing how it holds up with the liquid rubber. If it works out well I'll do the same.

I have high hopes for it, really believe it will hold up.

I have put over 100 miles on it in the Mo. Ozark hills. Other than being dirty, they are still like new. Nothing unraveling or cracking. The liquid rubber has done an EXCELLENT job!
