26" Bighorns are their way from RMATV!
Not the toughest tire, however Bighorns are a great all around tire for traction in many applications.Just got the shipping email! Should be here this weekend.
I have went back and forth so so many times on ordering these or the Terrabites that you have posted pics of. I would think I had the decision made and add them to the cart and then second guess myself and put it off another week. I guess the final thing that pushed me towards the Bighorns is snow performance. I am sure the Terrabites would have been ok in snow but I ride in snow 5+ months out of the year so I think the Bighorns were a better choice for me. We shall see.
Can you please give an update if you feel much power loss. I was thinking if these or 27”. Wasn’t sure about the added weight.Tires arrived! Had 5 mins after work before I had to change and run kids around to ball practice but I had to go quickly set them beside the 700 just to see. Seeing them next to the factory tires just makes me shake my head as to why companies put such small tires on at the factory.

I’m guessing you went with the 26x9x12 front and 26x12x12 back?I sure will. I got them mounted up today and put them back on. Only drove around the property for about 5 mins tonight but with that short sample I didn’t notice any power loss. I debated between 26 & 27” also and wanted to play it safe and went 26”. The 26” are so much bigger than stock already! One thing that was really shocking that came out of this all is how extremely flimsy the sidewalls are in the stock tires after they had them off the rims. Had I had know that I would have swapped them out sooner.
I have a P1, busted two factory and one 8 ply factory size front tires in the first two months, went to 30 inch tires all four corners, no flats since.I sure will. Did you consider the new bighorn 3.0 at all?Correct. 26x9x12 front and 26x12x12 back. And I debated between the exact same tires.
Ahh, I see. If you don’t mind after you get out riding around take a few pics and put an update on here. Thanks! Have fun!!I did briefly. Do don’t really like the looks of them and the lugs appear small. Also I wanted a 12” wide rear and the 3.0 is only 11” wide.
Man those tires really look good! I think I will go with them on my next purchase. Any noticeable difference on lower end power going up a size?Got the pressure washer up out of storage from the winter and gave the 700 a long overdue bath.
Tried getting a few pics to show the tire clearance
