P500 Froghead sound system

Is anyone using this system? I'm looking for some feedback on it before I empty the wallet. It looks simple enough but pricey.

It is expensive. I was looking at the SSV systems first. Once I finally decided to spent that much, I said the heck with it and decided to go all out.

I have the straight style of this same unit in a P1K. Great sound, very loud and simple to use and install. The addition of a sub would make it even better. Maybe someday.

This unit. It’s been in for a year now. Rain, dust, mud and below zero winter rides. So far so good.

Well... I finally found out why feedback on the clover style system is non-existent for the p5. The clover is bigger than the mounting bracket and it does not fit the p5. It's listed as a fit, but hopefully this will save someone else a headache.

Had to go with plan B since the clover didn't fit.

I looked along time and couldn't really find anything I liked that was built specifically for the 500. I almost ordered a SSV after the clover didn't fit. I ended up ordering a blank froghead console and built this one myself. I like the way it turned out and it is really loud.

Looks cool, over head mount I guess , been trying to keep the weight down and defiantly no up high weight?

It is a overhead mount. The weight wasn't to bad. I did think about weighting it but I forgot until after it was installed and the locktite was on.
