Have Kenda Bear Claw HTR's 27-9-12 and 27-11-12's. Since they are a directional tire, for a spare I wanted a bi-directional tire. I picked the Black Water Evo's. Bought one 27-9-12 to mount on a spare rim. The Evo is not mounted yet, but here is the size difference between different tires of the same size. Wondering whether I should keep it or send it back and get a 28". First post, hope I get the picture to show with it. IMG 3534

That's a big difference! They must measure tires like we measure our man parts.

If their 27 is that small, you could fit 30" with no rubbing. Seems like UTV tires are really all over the board for size. As a spare, it probably won't be bad. You'll likely have some tire wear if you need it. Just don't run on pavement with the diffs locked up of you have to use it

Black water only run close to size if you put the max pressure in them. I run 28" black waters and there close to 27" with 9-10 psi.

I've had a couple sets of EVOs, the 28" tires are true to size. Actually 28.25" at 12psi. Inflate them to max pressure stated on the sidewall and let them sit over night. They will stretch.

The 30" EVOs are very short at about 28.5" at 12psi. Not sure about the 27" tire though.

First of all HTRS run large. They are one inch larger than their listed size. I have 25/8/12 and 25/10/12 HTRS on my Outlander they dwarf the same size Mudlites.

Your tires are not rated to handle the the weight of your Pioneer, how are they doing? I love the HTR’s as a trail tire excepting mud.

They are ten ply heavy duty Tires by green ball crap tire company! The first set did not last but about 3000 miles of some hard and good rides. the new Tires are 1000 miles still look new and that is rocky desert trails.
Junk tire to great tire and only 28 to 30 and what a difference! STI X COMP 30x10x14
