So being in southern MS I opted for the wind deflector on my 500. Thought it was a good idea until we got caught out in the rain on the back side of the property sat afternoon. I got SOAKED. The roof line stops straight up from my lap. Everytime I hit the brakes it would come pouring down in my lap. It definitely cooled us off and made for a fun ride but I will be getting a full windshield soon lol. On a lighter note we did find a little mud after the rain. So I guess it worked out.

Ya. I noticed this on the 700 too. I am not a fan of a windshield but in a rain storm I'm sure I would wished I had one. I found a temporary one that seems to work well. But that company does not make them anymore.

Yeah, as got as it is here it's hard to run a full windshield about 6-8 months out of year. Luckily Honda did much better on the accessories. Pretty easy swap out with new clamp systems. No tools required!
