Welcome from the Yoop! Any location that's above the sight line of the plow will work. I don't plow w our P1K, we get too much snow for that. FWIW, I mounted a set of cheap cubes on the top of my tractor mounted blower....it works

I am a newbie from Northern Minnesota. I purchased my first SxS in March - Honda Pioneer Trail 3 seater. Thanks for all the useful information that I have already used from you guys. This is my first SxS and it is turning out to be a ton of fun.

I do have a question about an LED light bar location. I will be using my machine to plow so the fairlead location will not work. I am guessing that a rooftop light bar would be best. Does anyone have any experience plowing and recommendations for a light bar?

Been plowing with a P5 for 8 yrs and can attest that light location is an issue. Installed one on the bumper above the fairlead, looks like you could too, shines as low as you can go above the blade. Works great on the trail too, bc my headlights suck. But as soon as you lift the blade it's useless. A light bar on the roof takes care of that but is super bright, maybe in a rural area but nowhere near traffic. Having cubes or a bar at the bottom of the windshield area works best IMO but still casts shadows. 🤷‍♂️

Welcome from a fellow Minnesotan! I do most of my riding not too far away from you, we have a cabin in Itasca county. I have a few lights on the front of my machine. 2 A pillar cube lights and a short light bar in the bottom of the grill opening above the fair lead, I'll see if I can find a pic. I know some members have mounted an led bar at the base of the windshield across the top of the hood so that might be an option for you? I dont have any experience plowing with my sxs, bought my cabbed tractor before the sxs so no need to. But I do have more time plowing on a four wheeler than I care to recall....best of luck
