Update - got the plow and winch attached without issue. Spent a few hours Saturday morning plowing out the driveway. This was way better than my 4 wheeler or tractors. Even plowed out a few areas that don't usually get plowed just because I was having so much fun. Still learning some of the quirks of a new machine but I'm pretty happy so far.

Anyone have experience with a battery tender on these machines? I keep one on my 4 wheeler in the winter but the battery on this seems to be holding up fine so far.

Nice! I remember plowing with mine the first time and would've plowed everyone's driveway for free. 😁 Mine's hooked up to a tender whenever it's not in use. These have served me well.

Battery Tender Then get one of these to wire in and you'll never have to mess with the battery and cover again.

Welcome to the forum from another Minnesotan. Alot of great people on here and a wealth of information. I run a battery tender on my 1k5 when it's not in use, pretty sure I have the same one mentioned above and it works well. Where do you do most of your riding? Best of luck!

Thanks!

I'm not much of a trail rider, but I've ridden the trails in the Brainerd area before. We own or have access to a lot of woods around my farm, but I bought this mostly for farm/ranch work. It will be my plowing rig in the winter, fixing fences, cutting firewood, and other property maintenance tasks throughout the year.
