What’s up with the different wheels installed backwards?

I'll have to look tonight. Not sureCan you get the seatback off?
The 10k engine is one of the things that potentially scares me about buying a 1K. I guess I try and look at the worst case scenario sometimes.Looks like ins is coming to get it shortly and your saving all you can. What’s buy back, states very but usually it’s approx 20% of used retail unless the salvage facility guarantees a higher amount based off of previous demand.
Would be worth buying back if you could just for the $10k engine that isn’t available from factory as a crate. Plus trans, diffs, frame, bed, seats, clutches, headlights, doors and misc stuff someone could do a killing on. Probably worth 15k parted out. Pioneer is a very expensive rig to fix. Been there a few times from factory issues but I wish I had been able to have cash to do buy back, it’d be 10k in wallet instead of out.
Never had a 500/700 but I would say yes.The 10k engine is one of the things that potentially scares me about buying a 1K. I guess I try and look at the worst case scenario sometimes.
Would it be safe to say that the 1k is much more "automotive like" than the semi lawnmower engines in the 500/700?
Looks like you might have enough room for a 1/4" air ratchet and 10mm to remove it.I'll have to look tonight. Not sure
I’ve been faced with that engine twice and it’s brutal. Some parts aren’t available still as far as I know. But the positive is it’ll last a damn long time because of the tolerances. Just doesn’t like water or dust. The 10k engine is one of the things that potentially scares me about buying a 1K. I guess I try and look at the worst case scenario sometimes.

You just talked me out of really wanting one.I’ve been faced with that engine twice and it’s brutal. Some parts aren’t available still as far as I know. But the positive is it’ll last a damn long time because of the tolerances. Just doesn’t like water or dust.
Yes it’s automotive style. No jugs. That’s why I won’t let just anyone drive it anymore, save that for the Wolverine.
Oh they are bad ass though! I love it. Just needs snorkeled, intake boots checked and keep oil clean for a long lifeYou just talked me out of really wanting one.
The motor will last longer than the rest of the bike! You just talked me out of really wanting one.

If will still be tight with a stubby 5mm to remove the cover. Good thing about it going to auction, you can pile all the parts back in it in a box.
If people see it in pieces, they will wonder what happened and whether it runs. Should really affect the final value when it goes across the block. Could be nasty and disconnect a few sensors so it won't start. Then keep googling the VIN to see where it ends up for auction. Go and buy it cheap!
Don't forget the BCF bar!
I’d agreeThe motor will last longer than the rest of the bike!
I want! I want! I want!
