We will be shipping the rig because we really at max can only take a week off. Next year planning on flying in with at least our daughter and friend and boys depending. I do have a few regrets this year about not riding with some close friends and people I haven't met so a few more day rides with different groups to have better chances of spending time and riding with everyone and the night rides will be off the hook. Much like this year however I won't be at camp much because I'm coming to ride I just want to ride with everyone is all. Figure if we fly rather then drive we shouldn't need sleep lol.

Hadn't thought of shipping Rig there. Would solve a lot of B.S. for me getting there next year. We plan to make a 2 week vacation out of it. But want to pull the new 5th wheel. Tandem trailering is a no go for me.

Ya there's definitely a few things I'm not too worried about with this group of guys.
We failed miserably this year with saving and planning actually took place only weeks prior because of a couple things. Next year will be different with much more wiggle room and we will go big this time.
Also things that broke this year WILL NOT BREAK NEXT YEAR lol! Many fixes are planned to take harder hits. Not gunna be a repeat.

Honestly for us the tugging it down was no big deal except the 40+ hours straight driving thing and next year I was told max of 5 days off. That's an issue for 7 days of planned riding.
What I would suggest is cabin rental and just tow it unless you were planning on somewhere else for part time. Cabins were surprisingly good and even though expensive would probably offset cost of shipping and Rv space. Hell we were there only to sleep so I wouldn't be against a tent myself

I'm with ya. I'd sleep in my truck, and have several times. Wife, not so much.
We plan on a loop trip, down to TN for takeover, up thru KY and the Virginias on the way back home.
Lots of time to figure it out.

Will do. We have made several like that. I'm to twitchy for long road trips, but it's a means to an end. And I regret none of the flat ass windshield time it takes to get to awesome destinations.

LMFAO. It sucks when caffeine, hanging your head out window, 5 hour energy drinks...nothing helps. Twenty minute power nap is only cure.
