Damn deer about attacked me this morning! Walked out of the house and heard a bunch of rustling in the tree right by our steps scared the s*** out of me. I threw my arms up and yelled, that’s when I heard the hooves hit in front of me followed by a bunch of snorts. It proceeded to back up a bit but held it’s ground snorting. Sidestepped the thing, backed up and yelled again before it hopped off.
At first I thought it was a moose so I was terrified. We have a lot of moose that come into the fenced yard but this is first for deer. Also have coyote, cat and wolf on occasion so it’s scary. Normally they don’t come in though because of the dogs. Way to start the morning lol.
