I am a bit bummed I didn't try the 300lb springs on the fox shocks. I think that would have been the right path forward. Plus the Elkas were cheap and I was just lucky to get them

changing the stock to fox was a massive improvement, changing the springs was a more drastic improvement over the out of the box springs.

Edit: what works for AL/TN won’t work for desert.

For all of you guys with Ram pickups, ProClip makes a phone mount just for our trucks. I installed mine yesterday.

Keep hearing about how much better it is with springs.
I was actually pretty happy until recently. Added the rear faced a-arms and it feels better, more aggressive and sure footed with just people up front but got spongy with people in back to the point you had to lift when prior I didn’t. Was surprised to see that much bigger diff. I’ll try screwing down the rear, might just have to try new new springs

New springs are great. Im running 250 front and 275 rear. 300 would be better for heavy loads.

How does 275 handle weight? Trying to set it up somewhere in between. Problem we have is it’ll go from 2-5 people in one ride. Plus the cooler always. It sucks because right now it’s go time with just wife and I. I know it’ll loose some of that but hopeing not much.

For grown passengers and big cooler i think the 300 would do better. The 275 will let the tires make contact from time to time...especially when running hard. I usually dont have a real heavy load in mine. I would like to put the pin type spring adjusters on the rear shocks so i could add a little preload if i was running heavy without pulling the dam shock

The pin type adjusters on the Elkas make preload adjustments so much easier than the fox shocks. At first I wasnt sure about that but after 1 adjustment I knew it was better
