I love those old Ranchero's..

Just two gripes with this one;
Why remove the door handles? The old school OE handles look cool, and they belong.
Why a reverse cowl scoop? It's not a Chevrolet.. pick something FOMOCO related..

Other than that ... cool car!

Wouldn’t have frenched the handles myself nor have chosen shiny primer for color. But nicely done. It was pretty nice and the sweetest little rumble to it, had to give the guy props

Just greased my bearings for the 1st time . 3 were good. And 1 was making a noise and was no grease to be found. Driver rear. Weird. Should of checked sooner. But oh well.

At least a new bearing is cheap! $20ish and available over the counter any parts store. If the guy is willing to look it up by size and not application. The size is listed in the Honda part description.

5 years ago today my daughter received a bike for her birthday weekend camping. Not her first bike but it was by far her favorite, a brand new Honda! No more blue she had a CRF like the rest of us, probably the happiest I’d ever seen her. Made the sacrifices all worth it.
Her first ride was a night ride through the trees in St. Marie’s with no light following my taillight and the rest of the family behind.
Damn I don’t know what happens to time. Wouldn’t trade those memories for nothing but I sure wish could go back and enjoy some of those moments just once again. Kills me sometimes

Thats a Falcon Ranchero. Pretty rare car. My wife had a Falcon Futura when I married her. What a POS, and I usually like Fords.

They do look better with the door handles, and minus the hood scoop.

I greased it up. All good for now. Probably a winter project. Thank god I caught it before my next trip. Could of siezed.

@Pilgrim hows everything going with the new adjustments today?

Daughter doing fine.... should get out of hospital tomorrow.... they say she can fly home to Denver in seven to ten days....takes several weeks for your body to adjust to having only one kidney..... she is in good shape and after the next few days of pain should be good....
Nephew is miserable and hurting .... but new kidney is functioning and all good for now..... he received one 25 years ago that failed is why he needed this one.... a very tough and funny young man....

I have had the tough job of keeping my granddaughters 6 and 4 busy last two days... somebody has to do it
