My dad just text me and said my trailer got in a fight with an old Jeep he picked up... Apparently a tire went flat and it rolled back into the gate when the strap went slack

Yep... Gotta get it welded back up before this weekend. When I bought the trailer the guy said he backed his antique car into the gate when he forgot to put it down before backing up which broke the same welds. He had a "friend" weld them back on but you can see from the welds they weren't the best.

I’d say some heavier well placed straps might have helped.

Absolutely. I just talked to him and he had a bunch of other s*** piled on the trailer in front of the Jeep so he couldn't use the front tie-downs that would have kept it from rolling back. It was only strapped down from the sides, so bad decision on his part.

Well I made the call and put kodi down this morning. That dog had a lot of pride. And I wasn't going to let him go out like that. He barely had enough left in him to walk into the vet this morning. He was ready and almost seemed relieved, even smiled.

Sorry buddy! I know how much that pooch meant to you. You and I have talked about this. Just remember, you gave him the best life a dog could ever have. A tuff day yesterday For sure. I know he’s up there telling all his buddy’s what a great Dad you were!

I'll have to get some. My sister bought it from someone for $200 and was going to restore it. It needed a battery and some TLC when they got it but her dumbass boyfriend took half the engine apart and has the mechanical know-how about on par with a rock. They broke up and it's just been sitting in her backyard for the last few years.
