Thanks, I was just looking at the Bosch on home depot's website
We have a Bosch that we bough a couple years ago and it has been awesome. Super quiet there are some programs that you can not even tell it is running when you are standing next to it. Our old dishwasher was so loud we would put it on delay to start in the middle of the night to avoid the noise.

We have a Bosch also and agree with all you said, the first one started leaking around the door seal after 5 years, called a service tec out and he whips a tape measure and does a diagonal measurement and says our unit has been dropped, he calls Bosch gets a case number and says to call them, I'm thinking this is going to be a bunch of horse pucky. Bosch sold me a new unit delivered to our door for $ 200.00 and didn't want the old unit back. Wonder what dishwasher I'll buy next time? NOT!

Thanks for all the dishwasher info! I was sitting here drinking some Johnnie Walker waiting on my wife to get home to go pick out a new one. Figured what the hell, I'll go to war on this Whirlpool since I'm not too worried about killing it now. Checked everything mechanical I could think of again then started taking it apart. The control panel isn't sealed and shares the same space with the steam vent which only has a thin felt "seal"... Unplugged the ribbon cable for the panel and cleaned the contacts and everything out with compressed air. There was a tiny bit of corrosion on the stupid ribbon cable pins that were causing it to think it was shorting out. Put it back together and it's running like a champ again. I had plugged and unplugged the control panel from the main board yesterday thinking it might be a loose connection but it was actually internal. Huzzah!

WTF! They can’t sue me!:D
No but I guarantee it’ll run up the cost of guns, ammo and make ownership more tough. s*** is closing in a little bit more on those of us that believe in the old ways. I pray my grandchildren will know America as it is but fear that won’t be the case
