We all know you do. You’re a good source of tire knowledge because of itHey I like trying new tires.

Man...I really liked my original BH's I ran on the other one, but DAMN are they pricey (for what they are). Seriously thinking about 2.0's as well. Did you happen to measure those 26's? I know they usually run big.I had 26" bighorn 2.0 and they were the perfect height for the 700 made cruising at 30 noticeably quieter. And 28" tensor regulators were a tad heavy on the 700, until I put a uni airfilter on and gained noticeably more power. 4 sec faster to hit rev limiter from a clean stock filter lol.
Still running Bighorn clones on the 1000 here. Its time for new ones, will probably do same tire. Wolverine has gone 3.5 years on stock Bighorns just now having some issues, I believe the Bighorns are a good choice for lighter rigs. All around the best tire we’ve had for different conditions, just to soft for a heavy machineProb gonna run the BH clones I ran on the 500.
Looked at terrabites in 27 because everyone says they run real small. Anything else would probably be 26". Don't want to over tire the 700. I guess I should say tire shopping for a 700 drives me crazy.
Bighorns on Yami yes, copies on Honda. The copies are much better at anti puncture but do wear down quicker and not quite the traction IMO. The Bighorn on Wolverine are at 3850 but way worn at 10-15 percent@CumminsPusher did you tell me you are running 2.0's? How are they wearing?
Are they (the 2.0's) "real" or special ones for yamaha (like the P1K gets)? Surprising the clones do better with flats, but mine were bias ply, which really seems to make a difference, now that I think about it. Most of my flats have been on radials of some sort.Bighorns on Yami yes, copies on Honda. The copies are much better at anti puncture but do wear down quicker and not quite the traction IMO. They were the stock ones like Honda uses. Maybe better but doubt it, not on Yami site to find out. Shhhhh...f*** it! Just stay until it's safe to drive🤔
I may be forced to do the same thing, what with all the loose soil out here. 🙄Shhhhh...
Yeah was about 26.5" on it. No rubbing or anything. I really liked how it rode and drug out the gear shifts a tad.Man...I really liked my original BH's I ran on the other one, but DAMN are they pricey (for what they are). Wives and there sensible notions! HA!Few pics from today’s adventure. Daughter and I were having fun bumping each other till wife got pissed lol. Yami got cold after awhile for my daughter so she happily took the drivers seat of the Pioneer. Was perfect because we had tunes up just enjoying a few very cold Coors lights.
Between the two trips out today we’d been riding for most of the day. At the restaurant for dinner now and headed back out she wants to drive us around some more, good with that!
