The SD tag is looking more and more usable.
Alabama DORev won't tell me if the tags are reciprocal, I don't think the local paper pushers have a clue.
I'm gonna have to check with a sheriff.

SD tag is the way to go and easy. I did it last January all thru the mail and they were great to work with. Have had no issues with the
LEO's and drive by them quite frequently on all sorts of roads ( no freeways) and get the head turn but never stopped.

If Alabama doesn't allow sxs on the street a TN tag will not do any good. The tag is only good in states that allow sxs on the road. How ever if all you need is a TN address I have 2 vacant address that aren't being used and won't be for awhile if all you want is a tag to ride in states that allow it. Lol
In TN it's up to the county if they allow them on the roads. It even states on the affildavit that a county can refuse to allow them.

Yup short runs on back roads, I am not wanting to get on 4 lane even though its fast enough. Just want the police to leave me alone. I have several friends with acreage and private lakes nearby and its be very convenient to drive it over instead of trailering.
Y'all don't know what you're missing! Little action of mama driving home from the campground while I followed her with the camper and the D.

When to walmart tonight and Local police came over and looked at it! Now they want a Honda! No problem at all at the beach. The biggest pain is the resort that I'm staying at doesn't allow it "on the ground". Home owners association insurance BS. I'm parked in a special garage with boats and such. I just drop gate and drive out. When I come in I pull it back on the trailer and lock down. Next trip I will rent a house. Problem Solved.

Crazy guy was passing cars tonight on the shoulder on a rental motorcycle and about killed a lady right in front of us. He hit her arm and knocked her drink out of her hand and never let off. Luckily she was not hurt. 6" the wrong way and she would have been hurt badly.
