Wife started running fuel numbers out and looked up Tackett last night when brought it up. Sounded excited to head that way again, even daughter perked up saying we’d better not leave her behind.
Ain’t saying anything yet because that trip is as expensive as our local camping all year but sounds like everyone would really like to go. With 3 of us I’d have to take Pioneer😢
Anyways bug has been released.

How far of a drive is it from Spokatucky? 3000....ish miles one way?

It's about 1500-1600 for me round trip.

I think CP is probly around the 2500 mark, definitely a haul.

I'm about 300 miles, 5hrs and thats plenty for me. If was driving as far as you guys, I'd want to spend a week plus and hit Windrock, Brimstone and a bunch of the TWRA areas.

I'm about 300 miles, 5hrs and thats plenty for me. If was driving as far as you guys, I'd want to spend a week plus and hit Windrock, Brimstone and a bunch of the TWRA areas.

Ya when we drove down we spent 6 days riding. We spent between 14 and 18 hours just riding every day. Think it was like 1200 miles on the Pioneer over there, hit as much heavy stuff as possible, we definitely got some time in.
What sucked was we literally drove straight over and straight back, truck never shut off, we got there at 7am and started riding. Pretty sure I was still hungover till about half way home. The drive back was f***n brutal!

Probably so lol. Public thread and all so I don’t condone that. But pretty damn sure college kids would have a rough time doing what some of us can. At this age that took a year off my life. 🤣

Yeah we try and make it a week long thing. Usually stop somewhere for a cpl days (non sxs related) then make it to Pioneer for 3-4 days also.........but, we only do half day rides, ain't that right @TripleB?

Just don't know when....I'd like to wait till the kids are off on their own that whey we can sell here and buy a small place up there cash and still have enough to take it easy for a long while 🤞
