I like Mazak easy to program. learned on maztrol. I do a lot of g code programming now on haas mill trying to get my bosses to buy a Mazak lathe.

I don't hand write any g code I can edit it make it do what I want it to do but maztrol is my thing vertical, horizontal and I crossed trained on an integrex for a while but I don't do round. We had a DMC /DMG 5 axis for a few years that was conversational that thing was cool plc was flakey .Glad some else on here in the same line of work .

yes they do. most folks who are good are either retiring or will only do cnc. when u can do manual and cnc mill or lathe and engineering work. u become a hard to find person. especially if u enjoy and take pride in your work.

Were in a big Corporation Leggett and Platt a few of my boss is still treat us like numbers but most of them know what we're worth. Did you check out my Off the Wall builds yet I love being a machinist

Well f*** me! Stuck as hell. 3 mile walk so far to service. Snow drift a b****. Hound dog and friend on the way from the back way. Damn Ripsaws hate snow. All gunned up for the walk back.

Made it to service again. 5 miles from the truck at this point. Walked 7 so far. Beautiful out here and peaceful. I’m in my cowboy boots and jeans like normal so a bit cold but hell better sitting home.

Still alive lol. Wolves ran in front of us a couple miles back just beautiful. Ang has got the Beretta off safety.
