Well at 36 MPH I guess so!

That’s the same mileage my 20 ton loaded bus with a Cummins gets... The other weekend we took the Xterra to Seattle and about s*** myself realizing just how expensive plug wires are to run.

Alot has to do with how fast you drive. Me pulling 10,000 at 72mph gets 11.8 avg

The computer factored in idle time. The truck runs 24/7 when I’m on the road. So on this trip that was 3 nights on the road that it idled overnight. Overnight the mpg number will go down also.

I know its still under warenty, but idling a newer diesel is very hard on the dpf system. the exhaust is dirty and full of soot at an idle. you need to be throtted into them and have the turbo spooled to keep them cleaned out.

One reason for the manual idle adjustment set on the cruise control buttons.

Been looking for one of those. I don’t know what route to go for my Nissan Titan XD Diesel, the little 25-26 gallon tank just won’t cut it when I’m traveling.

Best ones out there? Which ones to stay away from?
