@JTW didn’t want to post back on the other thread but here’s what I was talking about with the Ford Aluminum corroding. Don’t know what’s causing it but like I said it happens a lot. We don’t see metal problems this soon, this Edge is only 3 years old. It’s underside is rough and there’d be holes in another year so we’re replacing the hood

Weird.. it’s got to be the source on the aluminum. That’s not something aluminum readily does.

That's what I would say contaminants in the aluminum and if it's not good virgin aluminum there's all kinds of contaminants in aluminum

Is that the best you can do? I've had first graders do better than that! HA!

Are you pretty bad over there too?
It seems to be coming from Canada here. By far the worst air quality since St. Helens blew

When Mt St Helens blew, we had a very cool summer and Pratt Whiney had a very good year, they build and refurbish jet engines, the ash ate them up, we have a facility here, I was talking to one of the supervisors about it, he said they ran 24 7. They have some really cool welding machines in there facility.

Ow come on, tell us how you really feel! I've owned one new Ford and a used one, the used Ford van wasn't bad, it had the straight 300 six. The other was a IH diesel, bad motor, bad every thing else made by Ford on the truck. Sold the company and that dam truck!

Is that demential lumber you are burning? In AR the EPA will fine you big time for doing that if they catch you. I have been accused of burning the cedar siding on a 3800 sq ft home, I took it off of the house first and if I did this burn it happened where you couldn't see it from the road, during the day time, it might have burned so clean it didn't smoke. HA!

Yeah.. you can burn brush but not sawed lumber. We had an EPA lady that drove around here threatening to write tickets for it. I haven’t heard anything about it lately.. so maybe she got run off. More expamples of useless government workers doing s*** to justify their worthless jobs.

Wonder if they caught you burning a rotten broad axed beam they would know the difference?

You guys and truck wars.

I can honestly say that I really like all the new machines. I'd still but the Dod...er, Ram, but they are all very nice. Pick the one you think looks the best and go for it.
