You get the truck and trailer stuck too?
You get the truck and trailer stuck too?
Damn!Well I’m broke down on the side of the interstate near rifle Colorado. It would appear that one of the leaf springs on my trailer snapped. It took out one tire only to discover it had snap after I change the other tire and it about got flat too. This throws a huge wrench in things considering I was going to try and get up over the pass today Before it snows this evening.

I was thinking the same thing! Looks like someone is trying to trick us into believing they were playing in the mudYou get the truck and trailer stuck too?
I have a Carson 5.5 x 10. One of the fenders has an area with no paint on the top where the tire rubbed and burnt it off after a leaf spring broke. I was on a gravel road, so the tire was ruined before I knew what had happened. Thought it was pulling funny, but not until I smelled the rubber did I stop to investigate.Well I’m broke down on the side of the interstate near rifle Colorado. Lol. I’ll agree with that!Warm Coors? I guess you can get worse than cold Coors...
You throw a whole bunch of mud on on that to look like you did something cool?
can you put. a couple ratchet straps around the axle forward to get you to a trailer shop or a place that sells leaf springsWell I’m broke down on the side of the interstate near rifle Colorado. Close! You get the truck and trailer stuck too?
@100Acre this is a good idea. Had a friend strap his F250 axle to get him home. It’s crude but it does work. You’d have to keep speed way downcan you put. a couple ratchet straps around the axle forward to get you to a trailer shop or a place that sells leaf springs
HA! Great minds think alike...I spoke with at South Park Colorado and he suggest checking the trailer up shoving a piece of wood in between the axle and then trailer. It’s out and it worked I was able to get it back over to my friends house about 5 miles away we dropped off the trailer with the pioneer and now I’m heading to Denver so I can drop off my camera there in the morning to get the roof replaced from hell damage I got September. Tomorrow morning after I drop my camera off to get repaired and I will come back to rifle where there is a truck and trailer place correct the spring and if they don’t have time to replace I will try to fix it myself. If I’m on able to get the springs in time or they take forever whatever I’ll try to trade it in And get an aluminum trailer.

I can’t believe you guys already have to wear jackets there... still 80’s hereGood day today. Got buried in the mud something terrible. Mud was literally even with my doors. Not water. Solid mud 2hrs to get it out and had a flat from something in the hole. View attachment 89482
