His home is great brochure eye candy for people content to see the world via pavement and "guides", but for doing what he likes, it ain't s***.
It would be great to have that life style, but we have three pups, would be stoping every 250 miles to buy pup food, HA!
I suspect a lot of people would love to live that lifestyle, but reality gets in the way.
I usually go out west for two months at a time typically exploring and/or looking for land like this trip was mainly dedicated for. Of course we must escape the occasional search, in order to search for escape. Most of the rest of the year I pretty much am a hermit and stay at home. I do not care for most of the areas where I live for personal and political reasons, so that is why am so drawn to the west, that and many other reasons of course as well.
Sometimes it is nice to actually go home even though I’m not particularly fond of it. After being on the road for so long sometimes I need a break from that. I’m very appreciative of the friends that I have a cross the country who open their homes for me and for those folks I go riding with who are pretty much the same people… I’ve made a lot of friends on this forum and I appreciate all of you greatly. So as an afterthought, I have homes across the country. This forum has created an extended family for me and the same goes for everybody I am I’m friends with on here - my home will always be open.
