Texas; quite possibly the most boring state to drive through.....

Haven’t driven through Texas yet, but I have Montana. The western edge of the state is beautiful but getting there from the east was boring! Made the drive twice...the second time was at over 100mph

Just did it In a Parkinsons simulator (AKA Penske truck).
I have usually been in agreement with you on TX ( and @my99svt on OK ), but strangely, I kinda enjoyed it this time. Maybe it was the destination.
I never want to live in either, but sometimes I think I'd like to spend a few days seeing what's over the horizon.

Made it to balmy Witchita Falls. Couldn’t find the State park in the dark so settled on KOA again. In two days I’ve gone from 9,000+’ in elevation to near sea level. Tomorrow I’ll be below sea level in S central Louisiana. Missing the cold dryness of the west. Being in the east is like walking in warm jell-0. Oh the joy...
