Nothing like cutting a 3in hole in a new rig. If anyone is thinking about trading I highly highly recommend getting rid of all evidence of a snorkel ($60 hood, air box to be back factory), dealers will use that against you as if your rig has been swamped or abused to give you less $ for your rig. If you put it back to factory it takes away leverage they have and saves a lot of back and forth negotiating. Luckily I came out on the winning side.

Knowing that, do you think you would have bought a cheaper colored hood to drill into? Or bite the bullet and put a new one on if you trade it in?

Not worried about the hood cost, I'll have this rig a few years and decide later if I'll replace it when trade time comes
