What did you think?
Its BAD TO THE BONE! Very well mannered under hard acceleration, in 2 and 4wd. It was really good in the rocks. The belt drive is really smooth in 4wd lock in rough terrain. It was pretty hard to get it to step out in 4wd. It was a lot of fun in 2wd but manageable when it did stepout. The seats and dash were nicely setup. The digital dash tilts with the steering wheel, so it always easy to see. Plenty of HP and torque.
I did not like the gear selector, it was very hard to make sure it was in gear correctly. I think it should have a notched pattern plate instead of a straight groove.
Also I have been doing a little research, I see a lot of complaints about the sway bars making a knocking sound. It was very noticeable on the front and back. I also think it would land better with the spare tire and wheel installed in the rear bed.

I will say I still like my P1k5 better. I drove around all day with 4 adults in the Pioneer today.
If your looking for purely a sport machine, the X2 is definitely worth a look.

I agree, we will never get away from the 5 seat Honda platform, wife and three pups that don't like to go fast and hopefully grandkids on the way!

I know this thread is primarily a fun BS thread, but given the regulars in here, it’s a good place to post this.

Every time I go to buy a new toy, I search forums and read. I learn as much as I can about the machine I’m about to, or just did buy.
It’s always a crap shoot.

Hayabusa.org was awesome. Met folks that I’ve ridden with and are still great friends with.

I had a KLR650 for awhile, wasn’t impressed with the forum members.

Had a Brute Force 750, the Kawi forum wasn’t much to write home about.. but I found the Mud In my Blood forum.. SUPER cool dudes, very helpful.

Haven’t found a good Old Honda M/C forum yet

The Viking forum had/has a core of really great folks, I learned a ton there.. still go back on occasion to flip them shiat.

This forum is another one that has a great group of guys. You’re all helpful, are quick to give solid ideas and advice.. we flip shiat on each other and no one gets butt hurt.. it’s pretty cool.

I guess what I’m sayin is I’m glad I stumbled on this group of misfits.

Cheers, & carry on.

280 dollar cooler is still doing its job. Even regeneration works!

P.s. I was joking about the "fat ass" thing.
