I used to raise Finches when I was a wee lad. I had quite a few varieties. Maybe Finchers were breeders of Finches? Finch Hams makes one contemplate To Finching hams. In my best Victorian English accent " Oh Look my dear fellow, Isn't that a fine looking ham in the neighbors window. Oh but how I would love to eat upon it" Maybe you guys were illegal purveyors of delicious hams? Maybe your ancestors were Finch Ham farmers?

I heard this on the local radio today. It was cold an rainy but what heck.



I took the boys and they got a lesson in the cost of freedom.




It was pretty sad to see the small crowd. I guess the rain and wind kept the millennials and snow flakes in doors. My oldest had to wear my coat. Most of the crowd was an generation of two older that me.
