Just bought a 18 Ford Transit 2500 with 4,700 miles on it for our service fleet, saved $ 8,000.00 over a 19, stars and moon must have been perfectly in alignment? It's pretty tall, so no ladder/pipe racks on top, nothing makes customers mader than tearing the poop out of there trees pulling in the drive way!So you think, I’m not one that hauls or tows once a month or so. I haul and tow daily and 50,000 miles a year easily. The blue oval hasn’t given me a reason to dump on it yet.
I will say that a co-worker has a ‘14 Ram 1500 and it’s been a great truck too. The GM’s in our fleet have been the worst. No yotas though. One guy had a Titan and it was great but drank fuel like crazy.
Let me say that it’s not always about the truck. It about picking the right truck of your choice of manufacture. I knew to pick the truck equipped with Max tow package and
Heavy payload. I see some of the guys just grab any truck on the lot and then b**** about it’s tow performance but it’s got a highway gear. A properly outfitted truck with tow package will have the additional coolers and perform better.
I’m pretty sure the Yukon is a “true SUV”Lincoln Aviator, body on frame true SUV. not a unibody. It’s an ‘05 but it’s been reliable and in the family since new.

Subaru is coming out with a 1/2 ton pick up in 2020 based on the new Accent platform?I’m pretty sure the Yukon is a “true SUV”
I run a ram promaster 2500. Same thing you have. Yeah... we’ll all be in smart cars before it’s done!I agree. I’m just not a fan of uni-body noise and vibration. I much prefer body on frame. The future looks grim though.
How do you think they work out as a service platform?I run a ram promaster 2500. Same thing you have. Good vans.
Don't think you would qualify for a smart car, just kidding, HA!Yeah... we’ll all be in smart cars before it’s done!
That’s true... I wish I had gotten the max tow when I bought mine. I’d just keep it if I had.So you think, I’m not one that hauls or tows once a month or so. I haul and tow daily and 50,000 miles a year easily. The blue oval hasn’t given me a reason to dump on it yet.
