Stopped at Ridenow in Chandler yesterday. A mega store with several brands, so I did the sit test.

A few things...
The new wolvy X2 just isn't blowing my skirt up like I'd hoped. The seating is tight for my admittedly big ass, and just not as comfy as either of the larger Pioneers. Honestly, for the cost...I'd just buy a P1K3 I think.

The 1000 sounds much bigger than the 700, but doesn't seem it in person. And then I start looking at the ground clearance, and start seeing a 1000 blowing a big hole in my wallet...so I mentally say ok, and decide that when the time comes, it may well be the 1000.

And then...
Today I spoke to a 2018 LE owner out on the trail. He was driving a Teryx. He said he loves the 1000, but apparently has the no fan issue, and had been told by Honda that pulling over and letting it cool for 20 minutes was "normal operation" of such a unit.
He said he had won some type of lawsuit against Honda, and would be selling the machine shortly. These reports really spook me...
He's full of shat!

I don’t want any comments or condolences but today my father had a stroke. He’s here and can talk a little but it’s labored and doesn’t remember much. He’s a good man and has led a hard life still working hard at his age.
Again I’d appreciate this not to become a topic or talk about it but he could use some positive thoughts and prayers his way.

I believe the story the about Honda defending their product like that. I’m so tired of hearing these stories over and over.

If I ever have an issue where I’ve got to talk to the dealer, I’m bringing a voice recorder just in case. That’s sad to feel that way but I don’t trust them. I just hope these stupid comments are coming only from the dealer and not the Honda reps and higher.

You and your family will be in our thoughts @CumminsPusher. Hopefully he has a good recovery.

The I won a lawsuit part
He was an older gentleman and was up the trail a bit taking pics when his buddy first related the story after realizing what I had was a pioneer. He wasn't bragish or anything about it (only talked about when ask) and said a few times that loved the machine itself, but...
Honestly, I believe him.

Could be that when he said Honda he meant the dealer? Dunno.
