Just guessing about 3hrs from 0%. It dosent have to be at full charge to jumpstart. I think it can jump a car about 20 times on one chargeIt’s not bad
It’s amazing how far they’ve came since the huge jumper boxesJust guessing about 3hrs from 0%. It dosent have to be at full charge to jumpstart. I think it can jump a car about 20 times on one charge

Just did. Lol. Perfect size, also will start a diesel.
I think you’re right on about the 3 hours... as for how many jumps. It all depends on the drain of the battery. I’ve had some that didn’t take much to turn over. And I’ve had others that were really dead and really pulled the jump box down. BUT you can get several jumps from a change. I have a smaller one from Walmart I actually got for a phone/tablet aux battery. But I like the genius much better. Although it’s a little larger. The genius has a bypass and can be used to hook to a pump motor for a back woods shower. That’s actually how I was going to run water to the portable propane water heater on our Yellowstone/ Tetons camping trip.Just guessing about 3hrs from 0%. So the GB40 jump box is 1000A rated.
There is also a 2000A(GB70) and a 4000A(GB150) jump box.
What size is needed to crank up a diesel truck from cold?
Will the GB40 do it?
That’s not bad! Most Duramax’s I see dead require a Cummins swap to get them fired back up impressive little box it must beIt did 2 duramaxes from completely dead a few years ago at mulberry ride.

They get significantly larger in size as you go up. I think the 40 will sufice for most uses.. again, it depends how dead the battery in the vehicle is. But mine started @my99svt duramax at Takeover. So the GB40 jump box is 1000A rated.

Yes they do jump up in size rapidly. If you go bigger than the 40 the box is about twice the size (inches). The 40 will activate the jump if there is atleast 2% battery life for it to reconize. If there is less percentage the box has a manual over ride button to push to start a completly dead battery. They get significantly larger in size as you go up. Yeah.. the manual override is nice. That’s how I ran the pump. The little small (Schumer?) doesn’t allow for that.Yes they do jump up in size rapidly.
