P1000 Hard decision

hey all

I have a P500 and truly love it. I have a family of 4 now and we have a cabin in the mountains and I want to take the family out for rides. I was going to buy a 2nd 500 but my wife says she doesn’t want to drive plus extra insurance and maintenance of 2 machines cost more. I really love the 50” of the p500 but I would like to go a bit faster at times. So after a lot of research I bought a 1000 5 I really hope I don’t regret leaving the 50” model. Here is the list of things i have being installed by the dealer

Hard roof
Glass windshield
Upgraded bush gaurd
Warn 4500lbs pro vantage
27” M1 evil

6x12 aluminum trailer

I did it after a month of p500 ownership... if you don’t have to have a 50” machine for restricted trails... YOU’RE GOING TO LOVE IT!!

I mostly run logging roads and a few trails. No 50” restrictions around here

1000-5 is the way to go having kids.

This last week I also made the switch. Haven’t had a chance to ride it on our trails yet. I know it feels a hell of a lot different. Taking a little time to get use to but I’m thoroughly enjoying it.

Picked up the P10005 this afternoon can’t wait to try it this weekend. I do miss the 500 but hopefully I will forget by the end of the weekend

Beautiful machine and truck I might add you have there. Like my old friend @trigger once told me on a ride “I’m afraid if I take your P1 for a ride, I might like it” and like it he did! Don’t sweat the small stuff. Enjoy the extra space and how much fun your kids will like it.
