P1000 Hard roof rattle

Just picked up my new 2023 1000-6 and it has the Honda hard roof. Not so much at higher rpm’s but at idle and low rpm’s the roof rattle is enough to drive me nuts. Rubber bumpers everywhere it touches the cage or is there a better solution.

I’ll post up my info soon with pics and list of options/mods I added before I picked it up.

Welcome from Mississippi. Most auto parts places sell an adhesive backed insulation used to seal under a camper shell on a pickup. I would take the roof off and cover the complete top of the ROPS with it.

Check for improper installation. If it's anything like my 2016, the roof shouldn't make contact with the cage at any point. It's held up and away from the cage by brackets.

I used Industrial Felt on my roof.

Make sure your roof is properly indexed from side to side. Mine rattled over the right passenger's door before I loosened and moved the roof from making contact with the cage. Rattle/Vibration eliminated

If it’s a similar setup to my ‘18 P1k5…it shouldn’t rattle if installed correctly. Mine is simply clamped on without any anything else.

Probably have some loose hardware etc.
