I don't blame them. Although the they must be preped for sale on arrival anyways. Seems minor. No unboxing/unstacking at warehouse. Sooner sold sooner honda make cash. The only thing with that is that once they get to the dealers, Honda will not only have to send the appropriate parts to be warrantied, but will also have to pay labor rates for whatever techs had to install the new parts... I'm sure they want to keep as much money in their pockets as possible.. can you blame them?
Any reports of Pioneers being loaded on trucks? They should be getting staged about now.
If the warranty is only 6 months why would I buy it now?? I live in CO and probably couldn't ride it much past Thanksgiving and then not until May. Warranty would be expired. Not a rocket scientist but that wouldn't be very smart.Honda made sure they perfected their unit before shipping. That's why there were so many trial rides. Would you rather have something that you KNOW will be 100%, or buy something that you might own for a few months before the first recall comes out? Honda puts millions of dollars in their R&D - and that's why their products stand the test of time.
the warranty is one year - and doesn't go into effect until the day your unit is delivered to you.
Good deal, thanks. I thought I had read that somewhere but the dealer I was at told me 6 months?? Thanks for the help!!the warranty is one year - and doesn't go into effect until the day your unit is delivered to you.

Oh im waiting lol I currently have a 2010 highly modified two seat teryx and just spent a week riding around in 4 seat teryx hunting and im not overly impressed with it I i dont really care for the engine braking on it its so strong that eveeytime buddy let off the gas it almost stops need to almost be hanging on at all times. I think the 6 speed transmission is going to be a smooth option.Just think of how you would feel if you took one of those models home then everyone on the forum received there pioneer 1000 and starting putting pics and videos on the forum LOL
If the six speed Honda transmission is any thing like a Allison six speed its gonna be awesomeOh im waiting lol I currently have a 2010 highly modified two seat teryx and just spent a week riding around in 4 seat teryx hunting and im not overly impressed with it I i dont really care for the engine braking on it its so strong that eveeytime buddy let off the gas it almost stops need to almost be hanging on at all times. I just thought of a upgrade for pioneer 1000 next year... How about a 999cc diesel turbo charged engine with the six speed transmission like a mini duramax diesel quiet, smooth and badassIf the six speed Honda transmission is any thing like a Allison six speed its gonna be awesome

Yeah im anxious to haul some firewood with my pioneer 1000 when it arrives. I'm willing to bet it is gonna be stout to say the least. Diesel would be too heavy but that's just my dreamy mind hahaToo heavy there should be plenty of low end grunt with the low range. You can make all that power but you'd never be able to pull THAT much there's just not enough traction 2000lbs with a 1700lb machine is pretty good and I'd wager it'll pull a lot more. Since we've seen the video of the BigRed pulling 6000lbs of hay.
Although if every other vehicle / engine you owned was diesel it'd be nice not to have to deal with gas.
Sweet.Well I just got the call I've been waiting on ! My dealer has a P1k5D - they told me it was gonna be used as their Demo unit and it wasn't for sale as of now. However he did say that my P1k5D would be here in 10-14 days ! Heading to look it over ASAP !
Sweet any idea which part of the states have received theirs yet?We now have reports from a handful of dealers that have received there first units. Including a P3.
