I would also like someone to chime in.

I bought these about a year ago:

They are awesome as long as you dont like to see when going up or down hill. The LEDs are facing the wrong direction inside the housing and don't reflect properly.
Great info.
I have considered adding some LED bulgs to the club store. But I can seem to find anything that works correctly... (I dont mean fit).
I mean, it throws a light pattern that complies with the reflectors for a proper beam. Just like your issue.

Welcome more feedback on this from others.

I will say though, they are still much better than the factory yellow incandescent junk. I'm looking at adding a small light bar to the front to compensate but I'd rather find a good set of bulbs.

I went ahead and ordered a set. $35 for the lights and $10 shipping. I will report back with a review.

I am able to return those lights just FYI.

As a side note, I ordered these:

They are a little pricey ($75 plus shipping) but they claim to have solved the projection problem everyone is having with Pioneer 500s and 700s. Here is a DIY page that explains the problem for those that are looking for answers:

I am on a quest to find lights that work well. I really want to avoid a light bar.

Oh lord.... They think this is acceptable and is how they recommend hooking them up.

Yeah I'm not a fan of that either but I have an old set of LED lights that I plan on splicing on an actual connector.
