P500 Heads-up for windshield for 520

So I bought a windshield for my 520 and after getting it almost all the way installed I realized I couldn't get the last clamp over the frame because Honda changed the bend (reinforced) on the frame as you can see in my pictures. Other then that my windshield fits great! It doesn't restrict the hood from coming off.

NO WORRIES ! I have the same windshield on my 500 . Just use HD Zip ties and carry a few spares . They work great . I yse them on my P5 because they hold it tighter . I also limo tinted the top section .

It will lay down perfectly when you get up to 100mph, LOL. Looks great and surprised the angle would have been changed on the new unit....

Did they change the angle or just add reinforcement?

No it's mounted everywhere else with no problems. It's just the clamp won't fit around the reinforced corner.

But glad its on. Maybe send a pic of your fix to the mfg. so they can copy your fix at the upper.
