Hi everyone. I've been reading your posts for quite some time now, they've been very helpful deciding how I want to set up my machine. I sold my Rzr800 last summer with plans of purchasing a P1000-5. The unit is at the dealer and should be ready to pick up at the end of the month.
The dealer will be installing the new tires, blackwater evos 28-11-14 on all 4 corners, winch, windshield, roof, heater, wiper. Once I get the unit I need to install a few lights, stereo and custom skid plate. I will be posting some pics when I start the build. I'm still unsure on a second battery, want to run it for a bit to see if i need it. I do have a booster pack so I don't end up stranded.

Nice,
Welcome to the club @DrAgon,
We are learning more about these machines every day. We have learned that a second battery will help prevent voltage drops. This is important as the DCT relies on certain voltages to work properly. Though many of use will never experience that those with large addon systems have, especially while winching. The booster pack is good to have also but If forgotten about, over time will leave you with a false sense of security.
Well, I got to go install a light bar. If you need anything just let us know.
C-ya.

Absolutely. I think I'm most excited for the custom skid plate. The old man has one on his p700. By far the best one I've seen

Just got an email from the dealer. The unit is assembled and ready to be picked up. Heading out Friday to get it, then the build begins.

The Evos look great on the stock wheels and fit without a lift and A-Arms (28-11-14). I highly recommend them, I doubt I will run long without a lift anyway.
I'm heading out this weekend to install the custom skid plate, lights, stereo and fan. I will post some pics when I get them.
