I am trying to get the best ride with these shocks for all my weight on my Pioneer. I have a lot of added accessories and weight added to my machine. Same size tires and beadlocks on all 4, 28” Tensor Regulators and 14” KMC beadlocks. First is the fiberglass molded roof with speakers, sub, amps, front and rear light bars, probably 200-250lbs. Next would be the rear rack with a 28” Tensor Regular tire and 14” bead lock wheel spare, and a 40qt, roto mold ice chest always full of beverages and ice. Also no the rear is a small shovel and axe mounted to the Rops and a scissor jack mounted under the ice chest. I have a full Ricochet aluminum skid plate and Aarm guards too. The front has a Viper 4500 winch, 3 led lights, and a full glass windshield. I usually have a dog, passenger, and 2 teenage girls in the back seats. If not the passengers I have my 40lb dog and hunting pack/gear and guns. When I got my shocks they came with 300lb rate springs on the front and rear. The front was too stiff and the rear was squatting. Elka sent me 275lb fronts and 350lb rear springs and it helped a ton. I still feel like I can get them to function better with the rebound and compression adjustments but wanted to see what those of you with the Elka’s have them set at for trail type riding in the desert here in AZ.

In the desert whoops you need slow rebound to keep from bucking, I don't believe the Stage 4's have the rebound adjustment? Did you tell them where you rode?

Yes mostly AZ desert trails and some sand stuff in Rocky Point , Mexico. Used for hunting the mountains with some rocky stuff too. Just notice the small rocks/bumps the most when speeding through the trails and driving more aggressive through the chatter stuff. I did tell them where I mostly ride but wanted to see what I should have my adjustment at. Yes the stage 4 has rebound and low speed compression adjustments, no high speed. Thanks

Thanks on the roof. It’s awesome but added too weight, main reason I upgraded the shocks to get rid of the body roll. Mayhem Manufacturing is who made it for me and shipped it to my house. Check them out on YouTube or Facebook.
