Hey sounds great and the same back to you if you ever head this way, would I need to get a different plate or do they recognize the MT plates I wonder?

They’d definitely be ok. They do “require” some plate but I’ve never once seen it enforced.

This trip sounds intriguing to say the least, it’s just before my Sturgis bike trip though so not sure yet but very tempting

Haha, don’t want to get in the way of that annual trek, but if you miss this, I’m thinking about a Lolo Motorway next time or a trek that 100acre mentioned.

CP would know about enforcement, but I can tell you that it’s cheap ($18.00) and easy to get a 7 year plate for Idaho and one year OHV sticker by mail, I just completed that. But it’s also possible that Idaho and Montana have reciprocity, worth the inquiry.

Talon X is supposedly showing up in a couple weeks, I may wait for the salt to get washed off the roads, but I have a feeling I’ll get weak and just drive and wash lol
