Iv'e been asked how my 700m4 with abnormally high miles is getting along. My 700 as about 7,500 miles on it and almost 2,000 hours. Reliable, loud/noisy and dusty. I haven't been using it for work much the past year except around the 20 acre farm where it is beening used by my aged Mother with zero issues. I'm not that into just taking it boondocking alot unless I have to get into tight spots or hunting (not much of that lately). My comfortable 4x4's Jeep and truck do a splendid job for getting me around.
I like it with commander shocks and the EZ steer power steering and use it mostly on pipeline projects. Heading to PA for a pipeline project if I get the contract....soon I hope! Last job I used it on I had a 36 mile spread of costruction I watched over and drove it daily a minimum of 50 miles per day 6-7 days a week.

I have been thinking about working on sound deadening and heat control. I took a great idea from this forum an idea to raise the front of the hood a few inches to control cabin dust and much to my surprise it worked! I now get outside air streaming in instead of hot air from radiator (?). Now I get to fabricate a simple grill or maybe a hood scoop?

Looks like the 700 has suited you well and has been reliable for you. Thanks for the update.

Maybe DGrider will chime in.
I believe he has way over that, and minor issues.

My old buddy @swsebek ...you remembered...LOL!

Mine had 8746 or so on it when i was forced to sell it back last winter (long story). The only thing besides regular maintenance was a $3 output shaft seal (and my own labor). Still had the original brakes even.

Last I think I saw of it, it was on CL with new tires and wheels and twice the asking price of what i had sold it for, from whomever had gotten it from the dealer I sold it to. You spend nearly 9000 miles with something, you learn every little scratch and ding in skids, ETC. It had developed a mysterious "display problem" and had a new display...the main goal being that it now had more palatable miles for Kentucky buyers.

An important geography lesson here: Miles that are fairly common in the west, will make the average buyer in the east faint. Once I knew I was selling it, I had a few people ask me about it while on the trailer. Once i told them the miles, they never even ask the price and simply walked away. Of course...i had no intentions of selling it when we moved...or i would have done so out there.

I believe @hondabob has put one over 10,000 and is working on that with another? There was also one on the FB page not long ago that had substantial miles on it as well.

DG is right I sold my red 700 with 7,267 miles on it and it was just sold again with about 9,000 miles on it. My Camo 700 has over 6,000 miles on it now. I replaced the gear position sensor on both at about 5,000 miles and replaced a leaking water pump on my camo 700. Got over 8,000 on my Pioneer 1000 and no problems. The 700 is very hard to break and is a great side by side for rental use due to the torque converter trans and low top speed.

I'm glad to hear that the 700 can last a lot of miles. I bought my 700-4 back in February and it has 1000 miles now

While I was searching for a 700 a few weeks back, a local dealership had a 2015 700-4 in for service that had +/- 9500 miles on it. Considering that he only had a half windshield installed, and the long cold winters that we have, that's a bunch of miles...especially here in the northeast.

We've only had our '17 700-4 deluxe for a few weeks here, so posts like these are comforting to read.

Little off topic, but since all the high mileage guys are in a circle and obviously doing things right, what fluids have you been using? I'll be coming up on first service soon enough.

I'm like @jinx , my '17 Deluxe is still pretty new as far as miles go...I had neck surgery right after I got it so, I'm a little behind on ride time...but I've done a lot of mods and I'm very happy with my purchase so far...Hope to have it for a long time...

We had 3600 on our p700 in 6 months without any mechanical issues. Did a lot with that machine and never a worry. Awesome machine, I still think it is the most bulletproof Sxs out there however the 500 seems to put up a good fight as well

@Vato any more info on the raised hood? you just propped the front of it up?
Yup, propped it up about 2 inches and it seems to help a lot with the fully enclosed front cab....hard doors and fabric rear window panel.
