Hello (Hola) amigos and amigas
I live in south campos San Felipe Baja California Mexico (moved there after retiring). Live on the beach and I have about 50 years of off road experience, starting on dirt bikes, Jeeps, then quads and SxS’s. A lot of my early years were spent in the local deserts east of San Diego riding bikes (my favorite a XR500 Honda). Graduated to quads and started GPS trail rides in Baja (over 11,000 miles down here) Then I bought my 1st SxS……opps!!! An Arctic Cat Prowler 1000, it was fast and extremely unreliable but I punished it down here in Baja. My next SxS was a RZR XP1000 2-seater, I drove that rig a lot and it was a blast except for one major issue….no room for anything, so on to my next rig, a 4-seat Polaris General which I built into an excellent Baja rig. I only put about 5,800 miles on it down here before I blew my first belt. Well the Talons had been out for a few years and I started seeing them down here in Baja, my first thoughts were not very impressive but I met a guy who had one and I got a closer look. Three things impressed me, the reliable Honda engine, the transmission (NO BELT) and the suspension (Fox Live Valve), the rest of the rig needs a few refinements which I’m working on. I’ll be updating you all on those improvements in future posts. When I bought my Talon the dealer had four recent arrivals and they all were sold in one day (mine included) to……people who live in the Baja.
Cheers Baja Charlie

Welcome from Michigan!

Looks like you went from bad to worse with that Arctic Crap and then to the Poo Poo Fire Trap’s
Then you TOTALLY REDEEMED YOURSELF! and bought a Honda!
The only thing you havent done is escape that Hard Left commie Country of Kaliforia then you would have completed the trifecta and be completely cured of toxins! 🤣

Like the others said, we need pics for proof that you truly left poo poo’s! They havent got angry yet but its starting boil so hurry quick!
Pics Or It Didnt Happen!

Thanks for the great reception to the forum. I’m currently house sitting for friends in the US. I’ll be back to Baja next week to start loading up stuff from my house on the Pacific side to take over to my house on the Sea of Cortez the next couple of weeks so give me a little time to get some photos out of the all black Talon. In regards to some of the negative comments as to where I live, I’ve been all over the world and where I live now it’s pretty darn nice. In the campo I live in Mexico the majority of my neighbors are Canadians and oh are they a fun loving bunch😕😕😕😶‍🌫️🍹🍹🍹🍺🍺
Cheers Baja Charlie

Another welcome from The Great Lakes State (not to be confused with being a great state though, unless you are a commie then you will love it here).
